At the age of 2 years your child will begin to learn important skills as he/she begins to socialise, interact and co-operate with other children.

In ActionBall the term Social skills is based on the following criteria:

  • Co-operation in play
  • Sharing with friends
  • Waiting and Taking turns
  • Abiding by the rules of a game
  • Negotiation
  • Winning and Losing

(These are skills some adults could well do with !) At about 5 years your child enters a very interesting stage of social play as his/her unique character becomes apparent. He/she may be a leader or a follower. Sportsmanship start playing a role as these are the grounding foundation stage.

Hello Action Ball,

My son Leo James (3 years old) is at Happy days and attends Zee's ActionBall sessions every week. I am giving teacher Zee a five star for the fabulous work that she does. Leo has been enjoying his sessions and could do it every day. I enjoy the feedback that he gives us after each session, only too pleased to explain and show us what he did. The pictures that she sends us are great as they allow to be part of the action too.

Keep up the good work.

Kind regards
Diane Raynal
